Howie Cockrill, a local musician, entertainment attorney and Bay Bridged alumnus, is leading a workshop for California Lawyers for the Arts called “Licensing 101” this Wed., Sept. 10 at the Fort Mason Center, Building C, Room 265 from 7 – 8:30 pm.

Howie’s workshop will focus primarily on music licensing and will include an overview of:
– what a license is,
– the music copyrights involved in licensing – both offline and online,
– who the licensing middlemen are,
– options for getting music licensed & for licensing music, and
– a Q&A period with attendees.

The price is $5 for students and senior CLA members, $10 for other CLA members and $20 for non-members.
