Yes, it’s the Hallmarkiest of Hallmark holidays, but that doesn’t mean you can avoid the gravitational pull of Valentine’s Day, a day when couples struggle to find something to do because they feel they have to and single folks look for something to do to escape the couples. Whatever your predicament, there are a couple of terrific shows tomorrow night featuring some Bay Bridged favorites:

Over at Amnesia, it’s a local folkstravaganza of sorts, featuring Emily Jane White and her band, who return to San Francisco after a strong performance at our Presents show over the weekend. Also performing are Mia and Jonah, celebrating the release of their brand new album Rooms for Adelaide, and Sonya Cotton. 9pm, $6.

Over at the Hemlock Tavern, local favorite Von Iva will surely be making the folks dance with their terrific electronic pop. The band’s heading on tour again at the end of the month, so check them out while you can. Carletta Sue Kay opens. 9pm, $8.
