San Francisco’s Wooden Shjips headlines tonight at the Hemlock Tavern. The band’s been receiving quite a bit of acclaim for its self-titled full length album, released earlier this year on Holy Mountain, which features psychedelic and experimental elements mixed with echoing vocals and more traditional garage rock sounds. It’s an exciting approach that should appeal to fans of more traditional rock music and experimental types alike.
