If you’re an aspiring artists or musician, or a fan of either, you should seriously consider heading over to the eighth-annual Expo for the Artist & Musician being held this Saturday at 934 Brannan Street, South of Market. Organized by the folks at Independent Arts & Media, the expo features over eighty exhibitors–including a number of great local labels and radio stations–as well as workshops on topics like zine-making, entertainment law, science-fiction writing and more.

In addition to Saturday, there are a number of other interesting panels and exhibitions on topics like bookbinding and puppetry running at various city locations throughout the week. Head on over to the Expo’s web site for all of the details.

Saturday’s expo runs from 11am to 6pm and costs the remarkably affordable price of two bucks.
