With one half of The Lonelyhearts residing in Iowa for 9 months out of the year, summer is a very special time. Andre Perry has returned from Iowa and will join friend John Lindenbaum in several summer performances throughout the Bay Area. Their first performance will be this Thursday at The Hemlock Tavern with local favorites Hiss Golden Messenger and Texas singer/songwriter Jana Hunter.

Even though they have been miles apart, The Lonelyhearts have been working hard on a brand new full length album that has an expected release in September on Three Ring Records.

John has also been hard at work on his solo EP, the Easter Sunday EP, which should be available both in limited edition press from DIY or Else Records and online for download. For more information on it’s release be sure to check their MySpace page.

The Lonelyhearts are playing a variety of shows throughout the Bay Area including one that The Bay Bridged is presenting on July 13th at Thee Parkside.
