About the bands:

Pillows: Saw them Monday night and already excited to see them again. Folk-rock duo’s vocal harmonies and tight minimal instrumentation make for great uptempo numbers and ballads alike. Listen to their feature show here.

The Old-Fashioned Way: A live favorite for their rocking songs and multi-instrument pop attack. You can here them in our February 2007 Mix.

Miguel Z. (of The Harbours): The multi-talented singer-songwriter behind The Harbours, who we recently featured here. Excellent retro-influenced rock with great pop melodies.

Birds & Batteries: A mixture of electronics and more traditional rock influences soon to release a anticipated new album. There’s a feature show that will be aired in the upcoming weeks, but we’ve also included them in our January 2007 Mix

Merch: experimental pop music with cello and banjo and other nice ingredients.

Food and Drink Specials!

There will be cheap BBQ and drink specials too, including $2.50 Speakeasy beers and $2 well vodka drinks—so grab a burger and a Big Daddy or Bloody Mary and have a great Sunday afternoon of live local music. Plus free snacks provided by Trader Joe’s!

Whether you’re looking for a cooling-down place after Bay to Breakers, or just looking to get a drink and some food before one of the excellent Sunday evening Mission Creek shows, this will be a really fun time!

We’ll see you on Sunday!
