You should definitely make the effort to swing by Dolores Park at noon tomorrow, where there will be brass bands, dancers, and just a generally good time. In the evening, two of the bands, The Gomorrans and The Loyd Family Players perform at Amnesia.
We’ve hopefully made no secret of the fact that Three Ring Records is one of our favorite local labels. Tomorrow, they present a showcase at the Rockit Room, featuring performances by a ton of bands, including Bay Bridged alumni Music For Animals, Elephone, Scrabbel, and The Ebb and Flow. The show is a benefit for At the Crossroads, and with your admission, you can also pick up a copy of the At the Crossroads benefit compilation Three Ring released late last year.

Over at the Hemlock, two great San Francisco acts join King Kong. For Port O’Brien, this is your last chance to see the folk-rock band before they head up to Alaska to work on salmon fishing boats for the summer. Andy Tisdall completes the lineup. Also a member of Little Teeth, Tisdall’s solo work is emotional and frequently intense but also catchy as hell.

At the El Rio, it’s a night of intense, danceable rock music. We Be the Echo and Bad Dudes both operate in the universe of frenetic math-/prog-rock, while And a Few to Break, who we featured here, mix their punk and metal influences with elements of indie rock as well.
There are too many excellent shows tonight to cover them all. Head over to the Mission Creek calendar for all of the details!
