Berkeley’s The Morning Benders will celebrate the release of their new EP, Boarded Doors, on Friday night at the Bottom of the Hill. Already collecting numerous blog raves, the boys have been widely acknowledged for their knack for filtering a retro pop sensibility through their bulletproof melodies and well-crafted songs.
Boarded Doors, which debuted at #5 on KALX 90.7 just a few weeks ago, is available on iTunes, Rhapsody and local music stores for $7…or, you can pick one up at the show of course.
Southern California’s Monsters are Waiting, The Botticellis and San Jose’s The Mumlers open the evening.
Show begins at at 9, $10, All Ages.
