One of San Francisco’s most visibly rising bands, Thee More Shallows, will bring their fuzz-laden, unpredictable pop to its loyal followers at Cafe Du Nord on Friday night to celebrate the release of their new CD Book of Bad Breaks, released by Anticon on April 24. The new release builds upon the band’s already eclectic and contagious blend of colliding beats, bleeps and plaintive vocals and is already making waves among critics, fans and blogs throughout the land. Following this show, TMS will be touring the better part of the country in May/June, so catch them while you can. They will also be playing an in-store at Amoeba at 7pm on Thursday.

Rounding out this exciting evening will be Bay Bridged alumni Scrabbel and Social Studies — the latter of which will be van-sizing itself, through Oregon and Washington later in May.

Show begins at 9, $10 adv./$12 door, 21+.
