On Saturday night, The Deli SF presents Papercuts’ Vinyl Release Party in celebration of their buzz-worthy release, Can’t Go Back (check out its glowing review by Pitchfork last month). Jason Robert Quever, the founder of Papercuts, sat down with the Deli before going on tour with Grizzly Bear and candidly discussed his bright future in music and the process leading up to his latest release. You can read the interview in its entirety, also on the Deli’s site.
Be sure to show up early to catch an equally accomplished set of local avant folk rock heroes Okay and Red Leaf Blackbird. DJ Le Bigge MC (Mike Taylor from the Court and Spark) will be on hand to keep everyone engaged between acts.
The show begins at 9pm, $10 adv/$12 door, 21+.
