Although we’re out of town this weekend, there’s plenty of stuff going on around the Bay, beginning with this week’s featured band LoveLikeFire, who will be playing on Saturday night with fellow locals Cold Hot Crash and The Federalists at the Bottom of the Hill. All the details can be found at our write-up on LoveLikeFire.
Tonight, Foxtail Somersault headlines an excellent show for the release of their new EP at the Make-Out Room, a show which we discussed yesterday and which should be a great night of spacey rock music.
And tomorrow, Von Iva plays at the monthly Blow-Up party at the Rickshaw Stop. We saw the band several times last year and their live show has to been one of the most fun and energetic acts we’ve seen. The songs on their debut EP are meant for rocking out and frontwoman Jillian Iva knows exactly how to keep a crowd in the palm of her hand. We’ve been awaiting the release of their long-promised new material and Mesh says they’re going to be playing all new material tomorrow night. Details here.
