Noise Pop Festival kicks into high gear starting February 25 and as a warm-up to the festivities, the San Francisco music and arts festival revealed its ancillary events and programming leading up its 27th annual event.

There's more music (of course) starting with the Official Festival Pre-Party at the California Academy of Sciences NightLife on February 14 with a headlining DJ set from Nosaj Thing. To celebrate Valentine's Day, local producers/DJs Lil Waifu and Arumi host "Love Songs vs. Breakup Songs" throwdown and Thao Nguyen of Thao & The Get Down Stay Down dive deep into the psychology and process of writing lovelorn tracks. On February 22, the Pre-Festival Cannabis Happy Hour will feature a cannabis-friendly menu at the Kabuki Hotel, in partnership with DoTheBay and marijuana delivery service greenRush.

Other festivities include a Noise Pop Merch Pop-Up and Day Party at FAZE apparel on February 23, DJed by Text Me Records' Drew Banga and Sazon Libre. And starting on February 26 through March 2, Benders Happy Hours will offer discounted drinks and free performances presented by San Franpsycho, BFF.fm, Text Me Records and Sea Witch Productions.
