In case you missed Hobo Johnson & the LoveMakers last night at The Fillmore, you still have a chance. Tonight, October 15, they will cruise south to the Catalyst Club in Santa Cruz. From here, the Hobo Johnson Bring Your Mom Tour heads to Oregon.

Sacramento based Hobo Johnson & the LoveMakers recently burst into the ears of unsuspecting listeners nationwide over the summer with "Peach Scone." An unreleased track from the group's upcoming record, they decided to record a performance for entry into NPR's Tiny Desk Contest. The resulting viral sensation took Johnson (real name Frank Lopes Jr.) from a few thousand fans to over one millions in less than two months.

With this rocketing success, Lopes and co. were able to sign with Warner Bros. Records. Two weeks ago, the group released the video for "Father," the latest single off their 2017 debut record, The Rise of Hobo Johnson. Check it out below:

Opening the evening is the relatively new and unknown singer-songwriter Love-sadkid. I hope their music is more put-together than their website.
