Downtown Boys

With two albums, countless accolades, and a legendary live show, Downtown Boys are a growing force against the white-washed rock and roll.

They have been working their way through basements and DIY venues, and they have now announced a world tour in support of their third album, Cost of Living, which drops August 11 on Sub Pop. Downtown Boys add their politically ferocious lyrics to their unique brand of punk rock, and even throw in some horns for some songs and performances. Just watching videos of their live shows reveals how powerful they are in person, and their mix of in-your-face guitars and radical, politically relevant speeches between songs make for a moving experience.
