Nef the Pharaoh releases "The Chang Project"

Ever since his 2015 breakout track, “Big Tymin’,” Vallejo’s Nef the Pharaoh has remained on Bay Area rap’s radar. His rubber-and flow, colorful wordplay, and rhymes are magnified with an outsize charisma that’s named him as the Prince of the Bay and E-40’s own protege.

On April 28, Nef released “The Chang Project,” the first of two bodies of work he has planned for 2017. “The Chang Project” is a refreshing perspective on Nef’s life now as a 22-year-old rising hip-hop star and new father. He brings some friends along for the ride: Ty Dolla $ign, Larry June, Caleborate, OMB Peezy, Jay Ant, and Slimmy B from another promising young rap act from the Bay, SOB x RBE are just a few names offering guest verses sprinkled throughout Nef’s new record.

Check out The Chang Project below and be on the lookout for Big Chang Theory to be released later this year.
