Alt Nation's Advanced Placement Tour, a 22-date tour presented by SiriusXM, brought together a collection of up-and-coming artists to Slim's earlier this week. The tour features Sundara Karma, Coast Modern, 888, and Missio (whom unfortunately didn't make the Bay Area date).

The show kicked off with 888, a synth-driven indie pop band composed of former members of hardcore band Drop Dead, Gorgeous. Despite the change in musical direction, the band's hardcore roots showed in terms of stage presence as the set was full of hair flips, high energy jumping and a dark lit light show. The new tune seemed to be a big hit amongst dancing audience members, especially during the last song when the band drummed amongst fans.

LA band Coast Modern followed, with a rather impressive stage set up. The band played amongst a jungle-themed stage with numerous trees and a fog machine. Next, an English band, Sundara closed out the night in a fit of glitz and glamour. The band's dreamy pop tunes and rock and roll swagger were catchy and had the audience bobbing their heads along to song beats such as "Flame" and "She Said."

We snapped photos for you to catch a bit of the action.
