The Bay Bridged and Imprint.City are pleased to announce the inaugural Southside Music Festival — a day-long, FREE, indoor music festival, showcasing Bay Area-based musicians taking place on Saturday, April 29 from 12pm-7pm. Intended to showcase the Bayview District neighborhood, Southside Festival brings together local business, musicians and artists for a special all-day event.
The festival takes place at 1439 Egbert Avenue (Egbert Avenue between Third and Jennings Street) and will showcase a wealth of deserving talent such as Sol Development, Le VICE, Crashing Hotels, Xiomara, Jay Stone, Siri and many more.
This event also marks a newly-forged partnership with The Bay Bridged to build a longer-term investment for future sustainable events, supporting the Bayview and Hunters Point's economic and artistic vitality. Imprint.City and The Bay Bridged support an acute focus on the industrial Egbert Avenue area and building the Bayview as a vital, emerging arts district.
During the Southside Festival, Imprint.City curator and muralist Cameron Moberg will produce another outdoor mural on Egbert Avenue, adding to our goal to build this area into an outdoor museum called the SPRAYVIEW.
