After a successful Kickstarter campaign which raised over $23,000, Rachel Lark performed the premiere of her live concert film experience, Studies Have Shown, to a packed DNA Lounge in San Francisco on Thursday, March 2nd.

Introduced by her parents, the show was an audio-visual exploration of Rachel Lark’s mind through acrobatics, dance and music. Her quirky soundtrack was a compelling exploration of feminism and identity, and it left the audience gripped and in awe for much of the night.

Over the last few years, there have been rumblings that San Francisco has lost some of its creative soul. Studies Have Shown signals that the creative scene may just be alive and kicking and shooting water from 3-foot penises!
