Dark Star Orchestra played a three-night run at The UC Theatre in Berkeley last week, grooving through it all.

Twenty-year-old DSO recreates past Grateful Dead concerts, replicating a complete set from a chosen show, song for song. The crowd, ranging from old school Grateful Dead originals to young tie-dye dreamers dance-bop-moved through the sweet, musically reminiscent night.

If you dig the sounds of Jerry Garcia, Phil Lesh, and Bob Weir, shake on down the street to the Dark Star Orchestra. Unfamiliar with the Grateful Dead? Check out the songs "Truckin'," "Scarlet Begonias," "The Golden Road (To Unlimited Devotion)," and "I Know You Rider."
