The She's recently informed everyone that they will be having a fundraiser at their merch table during Phono del Sol, all donations go to La Casa de las Madres.

La Casa is a nonprofit organization that responds to calls for help from domestic violence victims, of all ages, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. They are an amazing local nonprofit that give abuse survivors the tools to transform their lives, making a much-needed effort to seek to prevent future violence by educating the community and by redefining public perceptions about domestic violence. If you'd like to see a list of things other than money that La Casa accepts and bring them to The She's merch table at Phono, check out this Wish List.

Below is the statement that The She's wrote on their Facebook page:

"Hello friends!
Very excited for Phono Del Sol this Saturday and wanted to let you know what kind of donation boxes we will have set up for La Casa de las Madres this time :---)
We will still have the monetary donation boxes, and in addition we'll have boxes to raise money for purchasing feminine hygiene products, socks & underwear, and strollers & booster seats. Every dollar counts! We'll also have a box for any new and unopened products you might already have or want to buy yourself to donate, which we will safely deliver to La Casa headquarters.
If you're coming to Phono Del Sol please come check this out at our merch table; you can get some info on this organization, donate a dollar, or just say hello. Your support is so very appreciated <3
Spread the love
