This Thursday the Bay Bridged will be giving away two tickets to this stacked locals bill at SF's Hemlock Tavern. Comprised entirely of local experimenters, this lineup is a great introduction to the inventive musicianship the Bay Area is famous for, covering most of the post-hardcore spectrum. On one end there's Toyota, dishing out bratty, infectiously atonal compositions that sound more like the musings of recently sentient machines than punks in their early 20s, and on the other end is Lil Dowager, wildly packing their songs with time signatures and shrill feedback, more in an effort to entertain themselves as players than gain any listeners' approval.

Lysine and Unraze, who will be celebrating their 7" release at this show, both play winding, mid tempo post-hardcore sprinkled with arpeggios and confident bass grooves. Show comes highly recommended for '90s nostalgics and weirdos alike.

To enter for a chance to win tickets to see TOYOTA at Hemlock Tavern, email contest@thebaybridged.com with "TOYOTA" in the subject line and your full name in the body of the email. A winner will be selected at random and notified via email.
