Local Bay Area singer-songwriter Travis Hayes is ramping up for the release of his debut album, Young Daze, with a premiere today of the first single off of the album "Follow Me Home." Hayes, a veteran to the San Francisco Bay Area music scene, has worked with music festivals such as Noise Pop and Treasure Island Music Festival, as a talent buyer and a promoter. But after years of working within the industry, and helping other people work on their music, Hayes has now put his energy into his own album which is set to release July 7th. Here's a small taste of what's set to come with "Follow Me Home":

"Follow Me Home" is uplifting, powerful, and utterly invigorating. The song begins with an angelic guitar riff that runs throughout the entire song. Then enters Hayes' powerful, yet soothing voice, revealing and mysterious all at the same time. Followed by some nostalgic harmonica an effervescent bass drum beat, the song then explodes into a burst of instrumentation that is eclectic and robust, leaving you bright-eyed and wide-mouthed. It's a love song, a call to be heard, a call to someone who just isn't listening hard enough, and the lyrics are ones that you won't forget.

"Follow Me Home" is a great testament of what to expect from Hayes' upcoming album. It's poignantly beautiful, and wholly transfixing.
