Fuzzy Hunnies, fronted by Charlie Musser of Oakland, just released their first studio and full-band LP, Only. Previous recordings had featured Musser alone singing blues over an acoustic guitar, but the full band expanded his sound while still giving his vocals space to wander. While blues elements still exist on the album, it isn't what I'd call straightforward blues. To be honest, I'm not sure what I'd call it, and I think that's a good thing. You can listen to Only below along with a video of Musser singing solo in a West Oakland rail yard (under earlier moniker Charlie and the Mansons.
