Makeunder

San Francisco's Makeunder began in Hamilton Ulmer's childhood home in rural California, where he recorded his entire debut with a laptop mic, a violin, a saxophone, and drums. The experimental pop EP Radiate, Satellite takes layers upon layers of Ulmer's instruments and vocals to produce music that will most likely remind you of Oakland's tUnEyArDs, yet still surprise you plenty along the way with constantly changing volumes and tempos. Since releasing the EP last summer, Hamilton has established a seven-piece band that will be making their debut performance Saturday night at El Rio, where they will play Radiate, Satellite in its entirety, along with songs from their forthcoming LP, Dirt Flooding the Streets. Listen to Makeunder's Radiate, Satellite below.
