Poor Moon‘s summer-y sounds will be coming to Rickshaw Stop on Friday, December 14th. Much lauded as a Fleet Foxes side-project, the band’s debut is soft and pretty in a style strong enough to stand on it’s own. Members Christian Wargo, Casey Wescott, Ian Murray, and Peter Murray have created songs rich with light sounds and equally poetic lyrics. The Seattle band originally formed as a means to produce Wargo’s collected written material into something bigger. Poor Moon is the soundtrack to spending a summer on a mountain doing mountain-stuff, beautiful and grand the way the Appalachian Mountains are in a late August haze. Make sure to check them out at Rickshaw Stop!
