The always terrific Noise Pop Festival turns 21 in February, and the fest has just announced its initial set of performers. Locals Thao & The Get Down Stay Down and Toro Y Moi both have anticipated new albums coming out early next year, and they’ll be headlining separate Noise Pop shows. NP21 is also bringing some exciting East Coasters along for the festivities, including Free Energy — who were really terrific at SXSW this year — and DIIV, whose 2012 album Oshin was a widely acclaimed set of reverby jangle pop.
The full list of announced performers is below, and early bird badges are on sale right now.
