El Ten Eleven released their new album Transitions on Election Day, so should we expect to find subversive political messages embedded in the instrumental duo’s new album? I wanted to find out, so I sat down with Kristian Dunn, the band’s guitarist and bassist (both at once, via a two-necked guitar) and picked his brain after their set at last weekend’s Fun Fun Fun Fest in Austin, Texas. After the jump, listen to Transitions in its entirety (via the band’s SoundCloud page) and check out details on their upcoming gig at Rickshaw Stop on November 16th with Brooklynites Michna, as well as Chicago’s Yourself and the Air, supporting.
