wymond miles

Check out the new video for “Pale Moon,” the title track off of Wymond Miles’ first full length LP just released on Sacred Bones. It was filmed over eight hours in The Mallard’s practice space (that’s Greer McGettrick on bass) by Ryan Browne, bassist for Sonny & the Sunsets and the guy responsible for both The Sandwitches’ “In the Garden” and Sonny & the Sunsets’ “Reflection on Youth” videos. They showed up to the space, which is a large, dark, windowless room, sans plan and set up a bunch of lights. The result looks like they’re floating in cosmic dust, an image that compliments Miles’ Ian McCulloch-esque crooning as well as the “esoteric concepts” of his music quite nicely.
