If you're looking for something darker and more mysterious than your typical electronic show — which today means massive major key melodies and beefy bass drops — than check out the long running Icee Hot party coming this Sunday to Public Works.

A mix of odd, experimental dance producers who don't shy away from the skittering beats and off-tempo synths of famous IDM acts like Aphex Twin and Squarepusher, this Sunday's Icee Hot features headliner Lazer Sword celebrating the release of their new album, Memory, with support from Detroit's DJ Stingray, Shawn Reynaldo, Ghosts on Tape and Rollie Fingers.

It's $5 before 11pm and $10 thereafter.
